It's a great season for hiking and learning about how this town came to be. Wildlife will also start to come out as the cold of the winter fades away — and it is quite literally teeming with stunning animals that can only be found in the mountains.

Ouray, Colorado
While the majority of tourists head to Ouray during the summer season, it doesn't mean spring is any less charming — and it may be a good time to experience all the joy of this small town without the overwhelming crowds.
